PERSONALIZED TREATMENTS
Our practice utilizes a variety of treatment methods to encourage the natural healing process. By treating your body as a whole, we can help you manage your pain and overcome the chronic conditions that have been holding you back. Our treatment methods are non-invasive, so you can get right back to your normal life the minute you leave our office.
Acupuncture
One of the most popular alternative treatment methods available today, acupuncture involves inserting needles into various acupoints across the body with the aim of reducing inflammation. Acupuncture triggers the release of endorphins, which enhance the body's ability to cope with pain, so it is often used to treat sports injuries. However, acupuncture can also be an effective treatment method for fibromyalgia, migraines, insomnia, anxiety, and even digestive disorders. In addition to traditional acupuncture, our clinic offers Electroacupuncture, as well as Micro Acupuncture 48, which is ideal for treating degenerative eye conditions.
Dry Needling
Similar to acupuncture, dry needling also involves inserting needles into different points of the body. But rather than target acupoints, dry needling pinpoints muscle knots and areas of increased tension. Dry needling stimulates healing by gently releasing muscle cramps and spasms, which makes it an ideal alternative treatment option for a broad range of musculoskeletal issues. Overall, dry needling works to reduce inflammation, improving your range of motion, and allowing you to train more effectively.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal remedies are some of the most powerful treatments that alternative medicine has to offer. At our clinic, we rely on herbal medicine as a supportive measure of your primary treatment plan. Traditional Chinese herbal blends, like Xiao Yao San and San Ren Tang, enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-being by working to balance your hormones and rid your body of damaging toxins.
Cupping
Although cupping is primarily used to treat musculoskeletal disorders, including back pain and spinal stenosis, it can be a beneficial treatment option for a variety of other disorders as well. Cupping promotes circulation, which, in turn, improves oxygen flow, lymphatic drainage, white blood cell production, and collagen synthesis. Not only does cupping offer all-natural pain relief, but it also promotes relaxation, healing, and a healthy immune system response. This makes it a suitable treatment for many ailments, including asthma, bronchitis, eczema, chronic headaches, and menstrual disorders.
Nutrition Therapy
"Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food." Hippocrates was among the first to suggest that the foods we eat can heal us or harm us. In addition to acupuncture, dry needling, and cupping, Orlando Alternative Health also offers dietary therapy. By focusing on the right foods and avoiding the wrong foods, you can enhance your body's ability to clear out toxins. Dietary therapy is an excellent strategy for reducing inflammation that may be contributing to your chronic pain and underlying health conditions.
Vitamin Injections
Nutritional imbalances are all too common these days, but vitamin injections make them easy to correct. If you're struggling with low levels of certain vitamins, we can help you overcome your deficiencies. Vitamin injections quickly raise circulating levels of key nutrients which can have an instantaneous effect on your well-being.
